Sandbar Lake, located in the heart of Sandbar Provincial Park, is home to Rousseau’s Landing — one of the top Northwestern Ontario fishing resorts in Sunset Country.
This pristine location remains untouched from local activities and is the home base for our tourist operations.
Rousseau’s Landing is one of the only private properties in Canada that’s located in a Provincial Park. There are no other cottages or resorts on the lake.

Guests can choose to fish at a large scenic variety of surrounding lakes and have the hunt of your life in our various lush forest settings.
There are many lakes with boat launches and we have boats cached on a dozen lakes for your convenience and fishing adventures.

Our Specialties
Fishing
Our specialties include amazing fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Speckled Trout, Lake Trout, Perch, and Smallmouth Bass fishing on a dozen different boat cache lakes.
Our fish house is one of the largest in the area, featuring a walk-in freezer, running water, and a large fish cleaning area with stainless steel sinks.
RV Sites
Rousseau’s Landing offers a complete Northwestern Ontario outdoor experience with RV Sites as well as space for family tent camping vacations.
Cabins
All cabins have electricity, refrigerators, stoves with ovens, microwaves, bath and/or showers, dishes, and utensils.
Each cabin comes with space for playing, a BBQ, fire pit, and a picnic table.
Hunting
We provide accommodations for fall Moose and Bear hunting, with Grouse hunting and potential for deer hunting as well.
